Kernersville Showcase

The annual Kernersville Showcase will be held on Thursday October 23 at First Christian Church, 1130 N. Main Street. This 9th annual event provides local community members an opportunity to learn about local products and services that are available in the Kernersville area.

The showcase kicks off with an Economic Development Luncheon at 11:30 (reservations required). Justin Catanoso from The Business Journal, John Owensby from the Kernersville News, and Mayor Dawn Morgan are schedule to speak at the luncheon. For reservations, you can call the Kernersville Chamber Of Commerce at 336-993-4521.

The exhibit hall will be open from 1:00-7:00pm, and will include booths set up by more than 50 Kernersville businesses. It’s a great opportunity to see what Kernersville has to offer without feeling any pressure or obligation that may be there when you walk into a business or store.

There will also be a variety of free workshops held from 10:00-1:30pm to help you brush up on your skills. Held by experts in the field, some of the topics this year include “Quickbooks: Tips, Tricks & Troubleshooting”, “Winning Strategies For Small Business”, “Using The Internet & Electronic communication”, and “Stress management”.

“A Taste of Kernersville” starts at 5:00pm, offering sample foods from numerous Kernersville restaurants and caterers.

“Showcase Of Talent” runs from 4:00-7:00pm and will include exhibitions from The Glenn High School Choir, First Christian Church Martial Arts, Cheer Extreme, and the East Forsyth High School Orchestra.

This is a wonderful opportunity to come out and meet a lot of people, learn a great deal about your community, and have some fun! For questions or more information, please call the Kernersville Chamber Of Commerce at 336-993-4521.
